I think my next design will be a non-metal 3way tower. In my search for a suitable bass driver(s) to mate with Peerless Exclusive mid/tweet, I didn't want to rule out the Aurum Cantus 10 inchers (AC-250MKII, AC-250F1)as possibilities. Yes, about impossible to listen to. I listen to many other smaller Aurum Cantus speakers, and I had several myself, including the V8F that I still got. I had a good feeling about it and I just decided to give it a go. Ordered the New Grand Supreme. Never had any regrets.

There is a huge DIY market over there and although the drivers are used by other speaker vendors the bulk go to private individuals. Official Aurum Cantus thread. OK. I have a pair of Aurum Cantus 3 CA monitors on the way to There was a running production change by Aurum Cantus with no documentation change or indication the AST2560 wasn't the same as previous production drivers. The development pair (mine) were designed using original production drivers so we were unaware of the frequency response change until a builder identified about a 5 db dip not present in mine. In my opinion, Aurum Cantus is a very, very underrated brand given their terrific sound and stellar build quality. In my opinion, the V2s have to be right up there with some of best looking monitors anywhere - period. To me, the proportions of the V2 are just perfect and better than that of their bigger brother, the V3M. 0sNEk.
