A year ago I bought the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM. A perfect lens, but since a few weeks the rubber zoom ring is loose. Any other experiences with that? Does replacement mean that you have to have it serviced by canon, or can it be done by a shop? someone recently got a new rubber ring for this lens on this forum/thread here:
