Personally I'd go with the Scala, it's way more modern looking both inside and out and it falls under the "new" Skoda line up so it gets all the new technology and design language. But Regarding your question, yes the ScalaQuite happy overall, maybe the skoda service can get expensive, but it cheaper still than the competition. I’ve got a Scala SE (or whatever the equivalent “second from bottom” spec is in your territory), with the 1.0l turbo but not the base, lowest horsepower one.
